FREE Family Fun Night coming to Lake Wellington, Thursday, April 11th

Join the Village of Wellington for a FREE carnival-themed Family Fun Night on Lake Wellington, located behind the Wellington Community Center (12150 Forest Hill Boulevard), on Thursday, April 11th.
 
The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and feature a variety of fun family activities including a balloon artist, bungee trampoline, carnival games (milk bottle toss, ring toss, frog flip, fishbowl game, and strongman game), fishing, glitter tattoos, an inflatable basketball game, lawn games, vendors, a stilt walker/juggler, and refreshments for purchase.
 
Paddleboard yoga will be offered in two 30-minute sessions, at 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Space is limited and participants are encouraged to pre-register by calling Paddle Away Sports at (561) 541-6784. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time.
 
The following Wellington Community Center class demonstrations will take place between 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm. Attendees can visit the instructor tents on the day of the event to participate. Event attendees will also have an opportunity to visit with various local organizations including Courtyard Animal Hospital, Palm Beach County Environmental Resource Team, Wellington Community Services Department, and Humana.
 
Food trucks from Wellington's weekly Food Truck and Music Series will also be on site adjacent to the event from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Wellington Amphitheater. Approximately 15 to 20 trucks attend each week, offering up a variety of savory and sweet selections.
 
Following the lakeside event, guests are invited to make their way over to the Amphitheater lawn for a free ‘80s Music Tribute by On the Roxx beginning at 7:00 p.m. Please bring your own blankets and chairs for seating.
