Road Closures & Facility Hours During Bacon & Bourbon Fest

Wellington’s Bacon & Bourbon Fest is scheduled to take place beginning Friday, March 22, 2019, at 4:00 PM and ending Saturday, March 23 at 10:00 PM.
 
In order to ensure the safety of event attendees, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) requires closure of the entrance to Town Center Drive from Ken Adams Way and the partial closure of Town Center Drive at the entrance to Scott’s Place Playground throughout the duration of the event. These closures are effective beginning Thursday, March 21st through Sunday, March 24th.  
 
FACILITY HOURS & PARKING:
 
For Bacon & Bourbon Fest starting Friday, March 22nd - There is NO PARKING for Bacon & Bourbon Fest on site. All parking & shuttle services are free and located at: The Mall at Wellington Green (Nordstrom / west side). Shuttles will be running Friday, March 22nd 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday, March 23rd 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For Wellington Aquatics Complex - The Aquatics Complex will be open on Thursday, March 21st from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  Parking can be found directly behind at the Wellington Professional Center (12133 Ken Adams Way).  The Aquatic Complex will be closed Friday through Sunday, March 21st through 24th for the Bacon & Bourbon Fest. 
 
Scott’s Place Playground – The Playground will remain open throughout the week as well as the weekend of Friday, March 22nd through Sunday, March 24nd during the Bacon & Bourbon Fest.  Parking will be limited to the front parking area of Village Hall.  Additional parking may be found at the Wellington Green Mall, where shuttles will be running Friday, March 22nd 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday, March 23rd 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. 
 
Please plan your route accordingly during this event to minimize delays in your travel time.
 
Wellington’s Public Works Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will assist with maintenance of traffic and temporary road closures.
