Wellington Aquatics Complex offers Spring Break Hours & Lifeguard Classes

Wellington has expanded its Aquatics Complex hours for Spring Break. This year the facility will open for expanded hours, beginning Saturday, March 16th.
 
The facility will close at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21st, and will remain closed through Sunday, March 24th, to accommodate the Wellington Bacon and Bourbon Fest (to learn more about the festival visit www.baconbourbonfest.com).
 
During the break, the facility will be open to the public for the following days and times:

The Aquatics Complex is located at 12072 Forest Hill Boulevard and features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, diving boards, water slides, an aquatic spray ground, baby pool, concession stand, and locker rooms.           
 
In addition to expanded hours, Wellington will be offering two lifeguard classes during the break. Wellington’s Junior Lifeguard class will run from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday, March 18th through Thursday, March 21st. Children ages 10 to 14 are eligible to register. The cost is $60 per participant, and class size is limited to 15.
 
An American Red Cross Lifeguard class, for ages 15 and over, will also be offered. Class times are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday, March 18th through Thursday, March 21st. The class is limited to 15 participants, and the cost per person is $235.
