Forest Hill Boulevard Construction Advisory
Construction for the Forest Hill Boulevard drainage improvements project will begin on Monday, January 14, 2019. During the project, which will take place along the eastbound lanes just north of the Dunkin’ Donuts (located at 12754 Forest Hill Blvd.), the existing 2 lane eastbound section of Forest Hill Blvd. will be narrowed to 1 lane in order to facilitate construction activities.
Construction will take place Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Work will be suspended on Sundays.
Residents are advised to use extra caution while approaching this stretch of Forest Hill Blvd. as delays are expected.
Local and pass through traffic is encouraged to use Wellington Trace or Big Blue Trace as alternatives to bypass the construction.
The project will improve infrastructure on a portion of Forest Hill Boulevard, including the installation of a drainage basin to accommodate a known flooding issue near the bus stop just south of the Dunkin’ Donuts.
