The Village of Wellington Utility is rolling out our new billing system. This initiative is part of our commitment of great customer service.
Our newly formatted bill will clearly list the Utility charges, but with any changes, you may have some questions and we are here to help.
The new utility bill payment software will require you to know your new account number and customer number (CID). You have multiple options to obtain this information.
On your next billing cycle, you will receive your new billing statement. The format of this billing statement will look like the example below. Your account number and customer number (CID) can be obtained from your new billing statement. Your account number is the seven digits to the left of the dash, and your customer number (CID) is the eight digits to the right of the dash.
Please note that during this transition period, no late fees will be assessed.
Payments in the new system will be made through a new online payment portal. We will be promoting the use of the portal through various media, WellingtonTV, and on the Village’s website.
We are reminding everyone that we are not disconnecting customers or issuing any late fees or penalties as we work through the conversion.
The new system has greatly enhanced security to protect your information. We, as staff, do not have access to your personal stored information. Because of this upgraded security, you have to enter your personal information.

Yes, payments can be made through online banking.
No, your billing cycle will remain the same.
Yes, please visit our website for information and frequently asked questions. Past bills, statements, and past pay history will be available through the new customer service online payment portal. Due to the transition, there will be an increase in customer calls and hold time will be longer.
