Mayor Anne Gerwig Playing pickleball with fellow Council members at Village Park

Have a “pickle” ball with Wellington Parks and Recreation. The public is invited to attend FREE Pickleball Clinics in November and December at the Village Park Gym (11700 Pierson Road). Pickleball is a sport that combines the elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, into a lively, competitive game for all abilities.

Beginners clinics will be offered on Wednesday, November 6th, and Tuesday, December 3rd and will run from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM followed by open play until noon. All ages are welcome to attend. Participants will learn the rules of the game, how to keep score, how to serve, playing positions, and other fundamentals.

Equipment is limited, so those wishing to attend are asked to bring their own paddle. For additional information and Pickleball open play availability, visit www.wellingtonfl.gov/Pickleball.
