Wellington is excited to announce its Annual 4th of July Celebration. The community is invited to participate in a full day of fun and activities, starting with a patriotic pool party at the Wellington Aquatics Complex and ending at Village Park with a family-friendly celebration and fireworks show.
Patriotic Pool Party
12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Kick-off the day’s festivities at the Wellington Aquatics Complex (12072 Forest Hill Boulevard) with games and activities scheduled on the hour. Admission is free for children ages two and under, $3 for juniors ages three to 17, $5 for adults ages 18 to 54, and $2 for seniors ages 55 and older.
4th of July Celebration
Activities 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Fireworks 9:15 PM
Next, get your red, white, and blue ready for Wellington’s Annual 4th of July Celebration at Village Park (11700 Pierson Road). This free family fourth celebration includes bounce houses, entertainers, traditional games, CRAZY games, inflatable obstacle courses, slides, a farm maze, a petting zoo, a wall climb, and more. Approximately 20 food trucks will be on-site with food and beverages for purchase.
NEW this year — summon your inner ninja warrior and challenge yourself, your friends, and other attendees to the famous Warped Wall and Ninja Steps obstacles. The U.S. Ninja obstacles are suitable for ages 5 and up. A waiver will be required, and a parent must be present with minors.
The Long Run Band, America’s #1 Eagles Tribute Band, will be on stage throughout the event, performing all of your favorite hits. Attendees may also visit one of the many vendors on-site, or give the gift of life by donating blood at OneBlood’s Big Red Bus®.
Fireworks at 9:15 PM
Stick around for Wellington’s Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Zambelli Fireworks International, beginning at 9:15 PM This spectacular display can be seen for miles around and is sure to please the entire family.
Tune in to 88.7 FM
Music accompanying the fireworks show will be broadcast on 88.7 FM for those watching from their vehicles and areas within the immediate vicinity of Village Park.
Quiet Room
Wellington has partnered with KultureCity, to make Village programs and events inclusive for all residents. The Village will have a Quiet Room located inside Village Park to provide a dedicated space for those who may need a quieter and more secure environment. This will promote an accommodating and positive experience for all guests.
Prior to attending an event, families and individuals can download the free KultureCity App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store to view the quiet room and where they can access it. Also, on the app is the Social Story which will provide a preview of what to expect while enjoying an event.
WPTV South Florida 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
Catch Wellington’s fireworks show streaming LIVE as part of WPTV South Florida’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, a one-hour live television event. The ultimate celebration of freedom will air on July 4th from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Florida 24 Network/WHDT Channel 9. Streaming live and on WPTV streaming app platforms.
Free Shuttle
On-site parking is limited. Free shuttle service, sponsored by the Mall at Wellington Green, is available from the Palm Tran bus stop at the mall, near Macy’s, beginning at 5:30 PM Shuttles do not run during the fireworks show.
