[ARCHIVED] Wellington Celebrates National Day of Outdoor Play with FREE Kids to Parks Day Event

May 21st, 2022 marks the 12th anniversary of Kids to Parks Day, a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May. This year Wellington is celebrating by inviting the community to its first-ever Kids to Parks Day event on Saturday, May 21st at Greenview Shores Park (2163 Greenview Shores Boulevard), from 9:00 AM to Noon. 

Lace up your sneakers, head outside, and join us for a FREE day of family fun and outdoor activities.

Activities & Entertainment

9:00 AM to Noon

  • Face Painting
  • Food Trucks (Karen & Karl’s Cruisin Café and Kona Ice)
  • Laser Tag
  • Lawn Games (Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Jumbo Connect 4)
  • Sports Activities (Basketball, Football, Soccer)
  • Vendors

10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

  • Safari Stilt Walker

11:00 AM to Noon

  • Costumed Characters 

Stage Entertainment

  • DJ Music & Dancing throughout the day
  • Mystic Drumz Interactive Show 
     "The Legend of Marshmallow Island"
     9:30 AM & 11:00 AM
