[ARCHIVED] Wellington Expands Catalog of Fall Sports Programs

Wellington Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the expansion of its catalog of Fall sports offerings with the addition of three new programs including Adult Soccer, Adult Kickball, and Girls Flag Football. Registration is open now, details are below.

Adult Soccer, for ages 18 and up

Offered in conjunction with Beaches Adult Soccer League (BASL) this program will be hosted at Greenview Shores Park, 2101 Greenview Shores Boulevard.

  • Multiple league opportunities including Men’s, Coed, 7v7 or 11v11
  • Register at www.BASL.com

Adult Kickball, for ages 18 and up

Offered in conjunction with CLUBWAKA at the Village Park Athletics Complex, 11700 Pierson Road.

  • League begins August 23rd
  • Game are held Monday nights at 7:30 p.m.
  • End of Season Tournament for Qualifying Teams
  • Free CLUBWAKA T-Shirt
  • Register at www.clubwaka.com

Girls Flag Football, for ages 6 to 18

at Greenview Shores Park, 2101 Greenview Shores Boulevard 

  • Season runs September through November
  • Player evaluations August 21st
  • Drafts held the week of August 23rd
  • Practices begin the week of August 30th
  • Games start September 18th
  • Registration: $100 for residents and non-residents, uniform included (jersey and shorts).

New recreation participants must create a CivicRec account in-person the first time they register for a program or reserve a facility. Two forms of identification will be required to establish proof of residency (i.e. driver’s license and utility bill), and a birth certificate is required for registering a child in a program.
