[ARCHIVED] Councilman Michael Napoleone Appointed to Palm Beach County League of Cities Board of Directors

The Palm Beach County League of Cities appointed its new slate of officers to its Board of Directors during a virtual installation meeting on May 27, 2020. Councilman Michael J. Napoleone was appointed to serve a one-year term as an At Large Representative.   

"It’s an honor to be appointed to represent the Village of Wellington in this new role as representative for the Palm Beach County League of Cities.  2020 has been a year of unprecedented challenges for municipalities across the state. I look forward to working alongside fellow government leaders to tackle the challenges to come and continue supporting the League’s work in the year ahead.”

Councilman Napoleone was elected to the Village Council without opposition in December 2015 for a four-year term commencing on March 22, 2016. He is the first non-sitting council member elected without opposition in the history of the Village. He served as Vice Mayor from April 9, 2019, to April 15, 2020.

The purpose of the Palm Beach County League of Cities, Inc., is to promote and advance the collective interest of the municipalities of Palm Beach County, Florida; to analyze municipal issues and seek positive results through cooperative efforts; to respect the principles of Home Rule, and to encourage and enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Palm Beach County. The League consists of all 39 municipalities in Palm Beach County, as well as over 100 Associate members.
