[ARCHIVED] Aquatics Complex to offer Spring Break Hours, Lifeguard Classes, and Open on Sundays

The Wellington Aquatics Complex is offering extended hours for Spring Break 2020, beginning on Monday, March 23rd. Located at 12072 Forest Hill Boulevard, the complex features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, diving boards, water slides, an aquatic spray ground, baby pool, and locker rooms.    

In addition to expanded hours, the facility will be adding Sundays to its schedule, opening from noon to 6:00 PM starting on Sunday, March 29th.

The Aquatics Complex will be closed Friday, March 20th through Sunday, March 22nd, to accommodate the Wellington Bacon and Bourbon Fest (to learn more about the festival visit the Bacon and Bourbon Fest website).

Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22    

Closed for Bacon & Bourbon Fest

Monday, March 23 through Saturday, March 28    

10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Sunday, March 29th

Noon to 6:00 PM

Wellington will also be offering two lifeguard classes during the break. Wellington’s Junior Lifeguard class will run from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, March 23th through Thursday, March 26th. Children ages 10 to 14 are eligible to register. The cost is $60 per participant, and class size is limited to 15.

An American Red Cross Lifeguard class, for ages 15 and over, will also be offered. Class times are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday, March 23rd through Thursday, March 26th. The class is limited to 15 participants, and the cost per person is $235.
