[ARCHIVED] Wellington Parks and Facilities Holiday Hours

Wellington’s Village Park gym, Aquatics Complex, and Community Center will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

Wellington’s Tennis Center will be open for normal hours, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For information on the tennis facility or programs, visit www.wellingtonfl.gov/Tennis.

The following parks will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM: Tiger Shark Cove (playground and ballfields); Scott’s Place; the Environmental Preserve at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Everglades Habitat (Section 24); Olympia Park; Community Park; Village Park (walking path and playground); and the Wellington Green Park (10-acre site). Wellington’s Peaceful Waters Sanctuary, located at 11676 Pierson Road, is closed to the public for repairs. Construction crews will be replacing the park’s boardwalk. The park is anticipated to re-open in September 2020.
