Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County offers two different programs to help homeowners preserve and repair their homes. In addition, they partner with organizations to provide a holistic approach to improving communities.
A Brush with Kindness
This program's repair costs generally range from $1,000 - $5,000, with the homeowner repaying only a percentage of the price based on their income.
Eligible Projects
Pressure washing the home and exterior surfaces (driveways, patio, walkways, etc.)
Exterior painting of home
Yard clean-up (can involve securing a dumpster)
Landscaping (applying new sod, plants, mulch, etc.)
Minor tree trimming
Minor Exterior wood repair to stairs, shutters, siding, soffit, and fascia
Caulking doors and or windows and repair door seals
