NOTICE OF SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON
FISCAL YEAR 2019/2020 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
The Village of Wellington is an entitlement recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds authorized under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended (Public Law 93-383, as amended).
The Village of Wellington received notification from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that it will receive an additional CARES Act allocation of $297,908 for use during the Village of Wellington’s fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020, and ending September 30, 2021.
The Village proposes to use its CDBG CARES Act allocation for the following activities:

|Planning and Administration||$59,581|
|Total CDBG CARES Act funded activities||$297,908|
Consistent with the Citizen Participation requirements at 24 CFR Part 91.105 and the Citizen Participation Plan adopted by the Village of Wellington, the Village encourages citizens to comment on the second amendment to the FY 2020/2021 CDBG Annual Action Plan.
A 5-day public comment period will begin on March 29, 2021, and end on April 6, 2021. Copies of the second amendment to the FY 2019/2020 CDBG Annual Action Plan are available in the Planning, Zoning and Building Department at 12300 Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, FL 33414, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM Monday thru Thursday, or by appointment. Citizens are encouraged to comment on the second amendment to the Village’s FY 2019/2020 CDBG Annual Action Plan by submitting written comments to the Planning, Zoning and Building Department at 12300 Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, FL 33414, or to email@example.com.
