United Way of Palm Beach County

Join the United Way of Palm Beach County for a volunteer project on MLK Day. They are looking for 25 volunteers to help spread the word about critical resources. Help them place door hangers on doors and/or mailboxes in the Greenacres community. Their community partners from the Sheriff’s Department will be onsite for safety precautions. Volunteers will be required to abide by CDC guidelines of social distancing and mask-wearing at all times. Water will be provided.

CROS Ministries

Volunteers are needed who can help once a week for three to six months (preferably) using a computer to check in clients. Training is provided.


Our Savior Lutheran Church at 1615 Lake Ave. Volunteers are needed one day a week on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.


St. George's Episcopal Church & Center parking lot at 21 West 22nd Street.  Volunteers are needed on Wednesday’s from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

Food Sorting & Packing Pantry Bags

We need groups of 6 people (must at least be in high school and accompanied by an adult) to help either sort food donations or pack pantry bags to be given out at one of our six open food pantries. The time frame is flexible in 2-hour time blocks. Location is at our Lake Worth warehouse near I-95 and 10th Ave.  Contact Juanita Bryant Goode at

Volunteers are needed to assist Lake Worth residents with registering to vote and take surveys for changes in their community. They collect this data and share with local commissioners. For more details, contact
