Read for the Record
Wellington Takes Part in Virtual Read For The Record Event
In celebration of Jumpstart’s Read for the Record, Wellington will take part in the 2020 Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County's Read for the Record Virtual Event on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
This year, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, this national initiative must look a little different. Wellington’s Council has enlisted the help of community volunteers to record a virtual book reading of “Evelyn Del Rey is Moving Away” by Meg Medina, which will be shared with Village schools and learning centers. Browse this page to find readings of the book (in English and Spanish), along with activities for children and parents.
