Engineering Permit Fee Schedule

Application Fee:

 $1,000.00 - Land Development

 $50.00 - Engineering, Fill, Public Works, Overlay/Striping/Sealcoat

 $2,000.00 - Plat & Certified Boundary Survey

Permit Fee:

 4% of construction cost value – up to $1,000,000.00

 2% additional for any amount over $1,000,000.00

Revision Fee:

$50.00 per revised sheet

Permit Extension Fee:

Permit is automatically extended for One Hundred Eighty (180) days from a received approved inspection.  Thirty (30) day extensions can be granted at no charge at the discretion of the Village Engineer. 

 $75.00 - One Hundred Eighty (180) day extension. Maximum of two (2) extensions may be approved at the discretion of the Village Engineer. 

Re-Inspection Fee:

$50.00 when inspection penalty is assessed.

Surveyor Review Fee:

$2,500.00 - Applicable to Plat & Certified Boundary Survey applications only. Fee must be paid by check to cover costs of outside services provided by surveyor. This amount goes into an escrow account and any unused funds will be refunded to the applicant.

FEE NOTES:

(1) Application fees are due at time of application submittal. Applications will not be accepted without fee.

(2) Permit fees are due prior to issuance of permit. Applicant shall submit a Certified Cost Estimate from a Professional Engineer. Certified cost estimates shall be used as the basis for determining permit fees. Permit fees shall be equal to 4% of the amount listed on the approved Certified Cost Estimate up to $1,000,000 plus 2% for any amount above $1,000,000.
