The Wellington Amphitheater is a 3,200 square foot facility located adjacent to Scott’s Place, a Barrier-Free Playground. The facility includes a state of the art sound and lighting system for events such as concerts, plays, school functions, and movie nights. A grand opening concert was held on July 3, 2010 to commemorate Independence Day. The Wellington Amphitheater was funded by a Palm Beach County grant and can accommodate up to 1,500 persons.
As of July, events typically hosted at the Wellington Amphitheater, including the Thursday food truck events and Saturday concert series, have been relocated to Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road. The temporary change in location is due to ongoing construction in Wellington’s Town Center, as part of the Town Center Phase 2 project.
