Illegal Dumping

Illegal dumping is the dumping of any waste in any right-of-way, canal, lake, city property or private property, without the owners' consent. Illegal dumping is a serious offense and can cause the following:

  • Disrupt proper drainage and runoff.
  • Attract disease-carrying creatures.

How to Report Illegal Dumping

If you observe someone illegally dumping, please document the following information:

  • Date, time and location of the incident.
  • Description of vehicle and license plate number.
  • Description of the person(s) dumping.
  • What items/materials were being dumped.
