Next Family Fun Day: Saturday, April 14th

Each event features a variety of FREE activities for the entire family to enjoy! Activities are scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day, and include kayaking, paddle boarding, bounce houses, lawn games, and demonstrations with local organizations under the pavilion. Additional scheduled activities include yoga, meditation, zumba, art activities with the Wellington Art Society, a reptile meet and greet, and more!

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. 


Schedule of Events for Saturday, April 14th:

8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Kayaking, paddle boarding, bounce houses, food trucks, and lawn games.

8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Sidewalk Chalk Art with the Wellington Art Society

8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Meet and greet with Sammy the Alligator and friends, with Simply Wild Reptiles.

9:30 a.m. | 10:30 a.m. | 11:30 a.m. 
Yoga classes with the Little Goats from Downward Goat
(for ages 14 and up). First come, first serve. 
Participants should bring their own mat.

Green Market at Wellington
Visitors are also invited to stop by the Green Market at Wellington (located within the same complex) between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The Market features a wide selection of fresh produce, ranging from fruits and vegetables, to everyday favorites like coffee and fresh made cider doughnuts. Guests will also find booths of local shops and merchants including a unique selection of artists and crafters selling jewelry and other handicrafts.

Each event features a different theme, with “Mardi Gras” set for Tuesday, March 20th, and a “Lei’d Back Luau” scheduled for Thursday, April 26th. Both events run from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and are FREE to attend. 

The “Mardi Gras” night on Tuesday, March 20th, will include: a live jazz band, food trucks, face painting, a balloon artist, lawn games, and a Mardi Gras boat parade! The boat parade starts at 7:00 p.m. Those interested in participating may contact Jack Brownson at 

The “Lei’d Back Luau” night on Thursday, April 26th, features live Island-style music, food trucks from Wellington’s Thursday night Food Truck series, Hula dancers, face painting, a balloon artist, lawn games, and a Polynesian show featuring dances from Hawaii and Tahiti starting at 5:30 p.m. Guests are invited to learn how to hula with the dancers, and remain after the show for photo opportunities! 

Both events include refreshments available for purchase (cash only).
