Volunteer Wellington

V
olunteer Wellington is a program that utilizes volunteers to enhance community engagement and the delivery of services to residents. The Volunteer Wellington program allows Wellington to efficiently conserve resources while also providing volunteers personal satisfaction and an increased understanding of Wellington's government. As a Wellington volunteer, you will have the ability to develop new skills, feel needed and challenged, gain valuable work experience, utilize your talents and abilities, make new friends and learn about your community!

Opportunities are available with the Volunteer Wellington Program to volunteer in Wellington's City Hall, the Wellington Amphitheater and Parks. You can also dedicate your time to community-driven projects and events.

Citizens Volunteer Organization (CVO) is a special part of Volunteer Wellington and is a resident volunteer program designed to bring resources together to tackle community and neighborhood projects. These projects may not be funded but provide increased value or security to both Wellington and its residents. Typically, CVO projects include partnerships with local schools, providing meals to families in need during holidays, assisting residents that meet certain criteria with home improvements, pre- and post-hurricane assistance for those in need, crime watch events and more.

There are numerous opportunities to get involved and make a difference in your community. If you have any questions regarding the volunteer opportunities available, contact Kim Henghold, Wellington's Volunteer Coordinator at (561) 791-4000 or via email at   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
