Mandatory Water Restrictions
On March 22nd, the South Florida Water Management District announced Modified Phase I Landscape Irrigation Restrictions. These restrictions took effect beginning on March 26th and include:
- A two day per week schedule for residential landscape irrigation between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. OR 4:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.
- Odd addresses can water on Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Even addresses can water on Thursdays and Sundays
- A 15% cutback for all agricultural, nursery and golf course irrigation
Wellington observes the same restrictions as our residents, watering areas throughout the City by “zone”; days will vary depending on location. In addition, re-use water is utilized whenever available.
