Tanya Siskind is the newest member of the Village Council.

She was appointed on April 13, 2016.

Councilwoman Siskind grew up in Glen Arm, Maryland; a horse community in the suburbs of Baltimore. She attended the University of Maryland at College Park, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. After meeting and marrying her husband, Jeffrey, Mrs. Siskind continued her education in Los Angeles, California, attending Pepperdine University’s executive MBA program.

Mrs. Siskind and her husband moved to Wellington 15 years ago to start a family. Today, they have three children - Samantha, Jack, and Scarlett. Mrs. Siskind has served Wellington as the president of the Binks Forest Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for five years. In addition to serving as PTA president at Binks Forest, she also serves on the School Advisory Council (SAC). Mrs. Siskind was also the Vice President of Leadership for the Palm Beach County Council of PTAs/PTSAs. For the last decade, Mrs. Siskind has served with The Junior League of the Palm Beaches; including serving as co-chairman of the Pink Palm Committee.

Since 2015, Mrs. Siskind has served as a member of Wellington’s Education Committee, gathering resident input and developing actions that benefit Wellington schools.

Councilwoman Siskind endeavors to use her philanthropic perspective to inspire and promote a bright future for Wellington.
