FREE Family Fun Day on Lake Wellington, Saturday, March 10th

The next event in Wellington’s “Lakeside Family Fun Days” series is set to occur on Saturday, March 10th on Lake Wellington, located behind the Wellington Community Center (12150 Forest Hill Boulevard). 
 
The event will feature a variety of FREE activities for the entire family to enjoy. Activities are scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m, and include fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, bounce houses, and lawn games. Guests will also have a chance to meet and greet with Lion Country Safari from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and visit with Pia the Great Horned Owl between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
 
Additional scheduled activities include:

  • 9:00 a.m. - Zumba with Jamie Tizol
  • 10:00 a.m. - Kids Yoga with Nichole Sampas
  • 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. - Wellington Art Society Reception and Demonstrations. Visitors are invited to explore art on display inside of the Wellington Community Center.
  • 11:00 a.m. - Dragon Boat Demonstration by Lighthouse Dragons

Visitors are also invited to stop by the Green Market at Wellington (located within the same complex) between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The Market features a wide selection of fresh produce ranging from fruits and vegetables to everyday favorites like coffee and freshly made cider doughnuts. Guests will also find booths of local shops and merchants including a unique selection of artists and crafters selling jewelry and other handicrafts.
